I believe we should increase the power of portable FM transmitters for portable players and stuff. so when you are on a beach and someone is playing something you like you can tune in easier. Strong FM transmission of over a quarter mile should be included every portable player, along with network tftp transmission of the music being played through the speakers.
I also believe that we should build in retransmitters to these devices, so if you tune into a channel someone is broadcasting, then automatically your device should retransmit that signal.

In computer technology we need a similar thing
I suggest we call it the Koala protocol and make it fully GPL
what it is is a streaming network radio protocol that broadcasts a stream of whatever you are listening to on your media player
an actual stream from your personal device or computer that has a distance equal to wireless networking, and when you tune into a Koala signal your machine automatically retransmits it as it plays
we could even make a common router bios flash like wrt that included a form of retransmission routing for the koala signals it receives
this way, nodes along the chain increase the distance a popular signal will travel
sort of like seeds in a streaming torrent.
Also, the machines should transmit a whole song at a time then sync them with NTP or something, and the user can set their device to save the mp3′s
so it’s like radio and filesharing combined, without any central DNS, just local on the ground devices a few hundred feet from each other.
I think one of the greatest advances we could make would be to include file repositories on ftp’s in torrent trackers, or an evolution of torrent protocols to include multi recipient tftp blasts of packages from repositories of files on public servers with large bandwidth.
the masters are trying to lock up the internet, so we’ll have a tiny subset of the global network. Once the infrastructure is in place for this new era of censorship and data control the masters will be able to shut up any dissenting voice, just by blocking it, and it will all become automatic
