Ever hear of the Renaissance Man?
That’s a man or woman who eschews the mediocre idea of “specialization”
and believes that a human that expands their intellect and abilities into many fields of study becomes a more well rounded and powerful human.

These days, they are mockingly called “generalists”
because the established powers don’t want people to become broadly educated, they want everyone to be a specialist, because they learned over time that people like Galileo who learn many things will in time challenge the established version of reality that the ruling class has set as truth.

The best thing you can do for yourself to challenge the authority of the ruling class is to educate yourself as widely as possible.

Everyone can do it, it doesn’t take a special person,
and that’s what scares the elites of this world the most, self actualized human beings that aren’t fully under control.

I’ve recently been reading The Chrysalids again, an excellent novel by the amazing John Wyndham

Its set, ominously enough, in post apocalyptic Labrador, Canada
The main story is about Eugenics in a puritan religious rural society
Again, I think the irony of it’s location is very significant.

Basically any human, animal, or plant that doesn’t conform to the “Norm” is destroyed or cast out.
So a little girl born with six toes is cast out to the dark forest and her parents jailed, amongst many other atrocities listed in the book.

You see, in Canada there has been an unofficial eugenics program being carried out for the last 30+ years.

Once medical ultrasound was openly available in the late 40’s and early 50’s it was used to identify children with birth defects for the purposes of aborting them. Before that, if a child was born with significant abnormalities it would suffer an “accident” or sickness and wouldn’t even get out of the hospital, once ultrasound was available it simply became a matter of abortion, which was much less risky to the doctors involved.

During the 50’s and 60’s this was a good thing as new pesticides sprayed on crops were found to cause various mutations, especially sexual mutations, pesticides were found to cause various intersexual and even hermaphroditic expressions in both animals and humans. But they were big money, so it was cheaper to abort the 4 or 5 children per province per year affected.

Consider that Leonardo DaVinci is considered by many researchers to have been a hermaphrodite. Consider that the Irish (and Scottish as well I believe, I’m not sure, but I have some Scottish in me…) hero Cuchulain was also “of both man and woman” (you have to read the full versions, not the Christianized ones).

They would have been aborted at birth. If they’d have managed to have been born, they would have been murdered shortly after in the hospital by a “flu” or “tuberculosis” or something.
If they were born at home by a mid wife they would have been murdered by a puritanical father or mother. If they managed to slip past all of that, they would have been murdered anytime someone found out in a land where people are regularly murdered for being gay or lesbian.

I’m sure there are some who think I’m overreacting and blowing it out of proportion.
But consider the Compulsory Sterilization of the mentally ill in British Columbia and Alberta, which continued up until 1972!!!

Even more disturbing was the fact that very few people recieved any compensation, and NO ONE WAS GIVEN ANY JAILTIME.

Want to know something even more disturbing?
Until 1973 Gays/lesbians/transgenders/and intersex conditions were all considered by the DSM to be “Mentally Ill”. If you don’t get it yet, that means they qualified for Compulsory Sterilization.

Thousands of doctors took part in these programs silently.
But none of them ever recieved a criminal sentence. Records were silently destroyed.
We only KNOW about the eugenics program against the mentally ill.
The truth of the matter is, the program went far beyond just the mentally ill.
It was in place for almost 50 years
And its never actually gone away.

Statistically there should be approximately 2 full hermaphrodites (both sets of sexual organs, not just intersexed) per 100, 000 births. There aren’t even 1/10 that many alive in Canada.

But realistically, they are being killed at a number of different points in medicine and society, and have no protection in Law, as really.

They aren’t considered human in Canada.

We read about such things being done in the past but we continually forget how many fascists escaped prosecution by secretly emigrating to Canada in the late 40’s.

I really don’t care if you believe me. The truth always hurts.
But it’s a big problem today, since to become a doctor or lawyer and get to “the top” in Canada, you have to join a “Society” or “Fraternity” and many of these organizations are completely white and male, racist/bigoted/homophobic and their members consider their actions as for the “greater good”

Eugenics, believe it or not, is considered by many people, even now, to be for the Greater Good.

Maybe you don’t think it applies to you, thinking about this.
But consider parts of Africa, where at 14 a girl has her clitoris forcibly sliced off so she won’t feel as much pleasure in sex during life. That’s THEIR cultural pogrom.
So what about the future? When instead of waiting until they are 14, they will just snip every little girl child’s clit off at shortlay after birth, just like boys are circumcised today?
they don’t really “need” that, it’s better for everybody if we snip it off…..

Think about it. He tried to get me discredited, f’d up, and possibly even killed.
I can’t prove it at all, but I’ve been a target for assholes since I gave my original address to my SA employers. Don’t believe me, I really don’t give a shit.
But when I disappear or get sick and die, keep in mind, I’m healthy right now.
Other than a hernia, and an f’d knee, I have had recent xrays and I have no cancers in my chest or abdomen. I state right now that someone in the next year is probably going to try and kill me in a staged “mugging” or I’ll be poisoned somehow. If you trace it all back, like anyone would care about some dead broke artist fuck, it’s going to point to R. Cooper. Call me paranoid, it doesn’t mean I’m not right about being a loose end some rich fuck wants to tie up.

I wondered a lot why they hired me at SA. Why people said weird things during my time there like “this is the guy!” “This is him?” lot’s of odd looks. Like something weird was going on behind the scenes. Questions out of the blue about what I’d do if something I wrote was stolen. I wondered about it a lot, I’ve been doing Info Tech for the last 10 years, why hire me instead of a film school brat. It was tweaking me the whole time I was there. A lot of people  know about it, obviously. As soon as they had my address for administration, the shit started happening in my life. The house I was renting rooms out to people in suddenly filled with gangsters, whores and pedos. People sucking money and energy from me, gangsters tailing me across 3 cities. Tagged for removal. I wonder how much it cost? Or did they do it for free to protect their own film industry investments?

Maybe my punker friend will realize that she witnessed the ripoff sitting there at Turks that day, and that might be why she’s having some hard times too. Another loose end. She probably won’t believe it until it’s too late.

Want to hear something even creepier? My APC friend that had the spook eyeballing her? The spook turned out to be old roommates with Christopher Stewart, the man who hired me at SA, and seemed to be looking for someone in particular, not just someone to fill a seat. Is that creepy or what?

It’s cold, I have no computer, the library is finally open nearer my house
well, my windowless room in a house

where again, after 4 months,
I simply go in, no justice has yet read my statements,
no one is even looking at the prosecutions case to see if it’s truly warranted.
I’ve had to appear 4 times now before a judge and not one of them has even looked at my side of things, all they’ve seen are the prosecutor’s huge fabrications based on a perjorious police officer’s testimony.
None of the people that were actually there in the street are being called in as witnesses, only 2 people who called the police initially.
My Law Student counsel is in the middle of exams, so she couldn’t show. Funny how I couldn’t get any other court date for this except for the time period where law students have exams. Very interesting in fact.

Merry Christmas to the LYING police constable PC SMART who’s perjuring himself to make sure one of those poor people that are everywhere gets locked away. He punches ME in the temple with a ringed fist, risking my life, punches and kicks me 20+ times, and I’m the one who’s charged with assaulting him.

Imagine how easily people with serious mental issues get railroaded through the system.
I actually have a brain, and it still only takes one police officer willing to lie and a complicit prosecutor to cause me all this grief and worry.

Justice is not real in Canada, it can lie like everyone else.
I’ve said it before, until we get little spy cams on every single police badge we’re not going to have true justice.

Police are human,
they have egos, they have bills, they have families,
they can be bought, pressured, or corrupted.
They don’t make so much that an extra $10k won’t get a peek onto their car laptop.
They’re hired from the same recruiting grounds as most violent gangs.
Why do we assume they are in it for this “Justice” thing, and not power or money?
Trouble is, when they carry guns and tasers and batons, the “Justice” thang becomes even more important.

There’s a reason for it.
In a lot of other countries I’d already be dead for writing either one of my two books.
Seriously. I’d be stoned, and I wouldn’t even get a sham court process to pretend it was just.

Then its a month of Toast, Beans, Tea, a dash of yogurt, and “holiday cheer”

“Jesus’ Birthday”

Does anybody else think it’s odd that the Jewish people don’t really believe in Jesus the Great Teacher, yet the entire “Old Testament” is basically a bunch of books out of the Torah, tacked on to the stories about Jesus?

It’s because of the Romans and their colonial tactic of religious Syncretism
Basically, when they took over a land they found it was easier to just rename the local people’s gods and give them roman names, when they actually tried to crush religious beliefs they went underground, so it was beneficial to the roman state to allow the conquered subjects to continue worshiping their deities, just make them more roman and make sure the roman state got it’s portion of the tithe.

In the edges of persia, what is now Israel and Palestine, they had the Jewish people and their priest and Torah, as well as a whole bunch of followers of the man named Jesus, so they bundled them all up and made a Roman Version that lumped it all together and kept the excellent hierarchical control structure that the Jewish priests had been using for centuries as outlined in the Jewish Religious History(Torah). The “virgin birth” of a man-god was a common Egyptian myth that got lumped in there too.

Voila. Everybody’s happy and still under control.

-Queer bars and other gathering places for people of non “standard” sexual orientation have been systematically shut down throughout the west and central canada over the last 20 years by right wing conservative governments using City Inspectors to create flimsy reasons for business interruptions and violent racist gangs as shock troops to silently deter attendants
-Murders and beatings of queer persons are regularly dismissed as random violence rather than hate crimes, investigation is minimal by homophobic police, especially in the prairies
-Poverty is so pervasive that human slavery of person born in Canada is as much of a problem as persons imported into slavery
-The KKK is actually growing in size in Canada, not diminishing
-Poverty is creating massive influx of persons joining gangs, gangs are split along racial lines
-for years First Nations children were abused in forced residential schools
-persons born with ambiguous genitilia in Canada are operated on in infancy without regards to the childs rights, similiar to genital mutilation in other countries
-People who smoke are not given ANY PLACE where they can gather together and sit comfortably and smoke and talk
-Young people who are experiencing molestation are regularly placed back in the care of their molesters
-Bullying of racial minorities and queer persons in Canada is actually growing extremely fast since its low point in the early 80’s
-As in many other countries, police are regularly used to harass the poor and homeless using fabricated violations that require multiple court dates to deal with, these people lose touch with witnesses and lose track of dates leading to more arrests for failure to appear
-City public works and engineering employees are being used to harass the poor in cities
-Mental health patients in Canadian cities are regularly arrested since the facilities they used to be housed in have been sold to developers. The criminalization of the mentally ill is a serious human rights violation being perpetuated daily in Canada.
-I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, child pornography is going on in Canada, and it’s not being investigated, we’re talking about RINGS here, not just isolated happenings. It’s BIG money.
-23+ hookers, poor people who had no other safety net and no other way to pay for their rent, driven to prostitution by a christian society of “deprivation will help them succeed” and greed disappear into a B.C. pig farm over a 5 year period and no one investigates, 20+ hookers and runaways found in the Edmonton ravine system over the last 15 years, 16+ dead young female hitchhikers on the northern BC highway. People disappear all the time in Canada and no one cares.
-police in the Canadian prairies have been proven to take drunk First Nations people out to the middle of nowhere miles from town in -30 weather and leave them to die.
-police in a number of CBC investigations were shown using interrogation tactics proven by numerous international university psychology programs to create false confessions
-Police complaints commissions in canada are run by ex-police officers and don’t actually pay out compensation, that has to be done by the victim in civil court
-Canada doesn’t keep true poverty statistics, because they don’t really want the truth to be known. Actual poverty in Canada is anything under $28k (it’s not Nigeria, it costs about $500 min for rent and most heating bills in winter are past $200/mo.
-Indigent deaths are way up over the last 20 years, but you won’t find any federal data on that…
-Suicides are going up over the last 2 decades
-Protests in Canada are consistently the target of police surveillance, and peaceful protests are often attacked by officers with pepper spray intent on clearing out citizens protesting
-way back when: all of the founders of medicare had huge RCMP files. They were labeled “communists” for their social welfare ideas
-People in Canada aren’t being killed by malfunctioning tasers. They are being killed by being tasered 30 consecutive times in less than 5 minutes. It’s not a “mistake” when someone gets stabbed 30 times, same with a taser.

-There’s SO MUCH more!!! but I have to work on it over a couple of days and I’m broke and hungry and living in a barely heated windowless hovel with no computer of my own to write on….

Except for extremely minor changes, these books will not be finished until I’ve reached some level of success in my life. I have had some creative works stolen from me in my life already, so neither of these books has a written or electronic manuscript that is finished, on purpose, to foil the theives that come with a society which doesn’t value creativity.
When I’ve reached a point where I have the things that other people take for granted, financial and ontological security, I will finish these works. I estimate I could complete both works in about one month. If I do, they will be stolen just as my other works were, so they will remain in this purposefully incomplete form, probably forever. Enjoy what’s there.

I will write a couple of complete short fiction stories and post them for everyone, some satire, and some poetry, but these two works are the only really important works to me and I won’t give them away anymore than I already have. There is enough there for most readers to get somewhere in their own thinking, especially if you combine them with the Enlightenment links

I hope to collect my paintings soon, so you can then download a YouTube video of them being burned. Leave nothing for the hierarchy of kings to gloat upon I say.

#22 – What Canada REALLY Needs – Educational institutions RESPONSIBLE for the employability of their graduates!!!!

I’ve been trying to get a job in an IT dept. of an educational institution for years.

So I left this one till later.
But, I’m obviously not gonna ever get hired to one of these old boy hierarchical cesspools,
too anti authority, so fuck it. Right between their eyes…

In the last 20 years of right wing government we’ve gone from a system where everyone could get a good education, to one where the very banking system that’s keeping people in poverty with its “credit” bullshit is in charge of who gets a student loan and how fast they must repay it.

People are getting $20k – $50k in debt for their education, and then working as dishwashers to pay it off. Yet I would bet you that 3/4 of the MLA’s in Parliament went to school on Canada Student Loans from the 70’s, even though they had parents rich enough to actually pay for it!!

Here’s how it should work.
If there are no  jobs in something, there shouldn’t be 10 places to go and get in debt for it.

It’s just raking in money for educational institutions who are then paying outrageous salaries to old fuckers who can barely teach.

If an educational institution wants to get students in a course it should have to prove that it is outputting educated professionals who can actually get work in that particular field, that way  kids who are just wasting time won’t be accepted to a course. Regardless of how  fucking rich your daddy is, the institution isn’t going to let you take a program if in your first semester you’re getting %50 for marks. They want people who will get to the end of the program and be employable  in that field or they won’t get any more funding for those programs, the institutions that are actually preparing people for real world work will get that funding.

Schools will specialize properly then, instead of every school in the country having programs in things that aren’t going to fill positions, people who are good at some particular thing will go to the school that is actually outputting people into that field.

Right now schools can  teach out of date programs, with little real world industry input and generate scores of people who basically know very little about the real job.

We send thousands of people out into the workforce with “IT” certificates and diplomas, and then the government just lets industry import them directly in from india or china anyway.

We output thousands of civil engineers, and then large public works projects just fly a bunch of lower paid serbians and mexicans, russians etc in for the job and then send them back home after.

If educational institutions had to guarantee that graduates would find employment in their field, the educational system would fight these kinds of imports.

There’s no accountability right now in the educational sector, and Canadians who go to school for something are often ill prepared for the real workforce and end up doing servile labour, NOT what they were trained for.

Schools would specialize more and beef up their infrastructure and course content to make sure that their graduates actually get work.

Make them accountable for the quality of their product!!!

Let’s say you knew of a whole ring of people involved in child pornography.
A gang of them. The type of gang that the RCMP doesn’t seem to be good at catching
there was this ring of child pornographers in Montreal, the RCMP caught 30 of them.
But they wouldn’t have caught any of them at all if the german secret police hadn’t clued them in.
Those people were pulling that shit for almost a decade.
and the canuck police were clueless.
Too busy busting street people for misdemeanor possession and harassing already abused prostitutes I guess.

There’s a ring active right here in the lower mainland.
but get this, if I talk to a police detective here, what do you think will happen?

1. I get the satisfaction of knowing I did the right thing
2. I get no assistance getting a new place, so when the half dozen of them that are missed in the sting go looking I’m easy to find
3. there’s a bunch of them, so instead a half dozen of them tell the police that I’m crazy, or on drugs, or something like that, and since there’s more of them, I end up getting hassled or labeled or end up getting grilled by a psychologist
4. there’s not any real evidence, because the kids were bought from addicts or birthed by addicts who owed them money, so there’s no birth certificate, and afterwards they end up down a drain
5. I just had a cop punch me out and then lie in court and say he was assaulted by me so why would I trust them, and according to their bullshit notes from the cop who beat me I’m “violent” so why would they treat me with any respect.
6. the women are just drug addicts, so why would a cop care?
7. 50% or more of the police force is homophobic or even homohostile, so there’s even more reason to trust them for someone with a non-straight orientation.
8. the two main covers that these people are using are a “recovery clinic”, and to use gay and transgendered people as a “patsy” so if they get caught they can blame the deeds on someone that %50 of cops will hate anyways. Whose the cop going to believe? the “addict” or the “respectable recovery councillor”
9. doesn’t anybody remember the story about Jeffery Dahmer? Where one of his victims actually got out and talked to 2 cops and then they laughed at Dahmer’s joke about his “crazy boy” who then ended up in the fridge?
10. For some reason MP3 recording technology is difficult so police reports are still filled out based on shorthand notes and someones memory of a conversation a year later, that way it can be rearranged or regurgitated as the need arises.
11. The Olympics are coming. We don’t want to mess with the tourism, just let it slide. In fact it might help the rich visitor count.
12. These people have money. They get $10k per day from this, maybe $100k a month, and the people who can pay that much for an evil fetish have good lawyers and exist in the top of the Canadian food chain. Possibly even in government or law. Naw, that’s paranoid.
13. I can’t be the only observant human being with a conscience. Perhaps a couple uniforms are involved in the same gang on the side? Probably not. They get screened so well each year, none of them could be doing something for an extra few $k.

You know what everyone has noticed over the last 50 years?
Whistleblowers get a pat on the back and then never work again, when we check in on them 20 years later they’re usually living in poverty or died somewhere along the way.

Our parliamentary system was thought up by a bunch of rich fucks a long time ago, and inherent in its very design is a discrimination against the views of the true majority.

Our governments have gotten very little done in the last 20 years, other than doling out grats to their fat cat friends who paid for their election campaigns, and their buddies in the party.

We need true representation by population, ridings are arranged right now so that the rich get 2 mla’s for every single mla in a poor neighborhood, oversimplified but it is basically true. Whoever draws up the ridings consolidates their rich/poor schism and privilege.

we should scrap the whole party system, we should vote for a leader based on his singular agenda, and then he picks his cabinet from our pool of elected non-partisan mla’s, and there should be a review of major decisions by the elected MLA’s

Unfortunately the last 20-30 years of Canadian politics has been a fucking shitfest of children in adult bodies throwing feces at each other.

In the last 20 years we’ve seen a number of ruling parties squeeze ridiculous things in with a larger bill.

What really fucking pisses me off is the way the conservatives talk about themselves as if it was a real majority election and they actually have the “majority” on their side.

Here’s what I saw going on with the election…

First of all, Stephen calls the election and only gives us 2 months to prepare for it.
That’s not enough time, and we really didn’t start to hear what each party was about until almost 2 weeks before the election. He did it that way because he figured that the conservatives had more money, so they’d have more visibility, and if he left it longer then people might actually talk about the REAL issues affecting Canadians, not just the “carbon tax” or some other buzzword shit that they were trying to make the singular focus of the election. The singular issue election is the standard practice of these fucking parrots for the last 20 fucking years.

BTW, the conservatives have a bigger war chest because they accept money for sucking corporate cock, even though they claim prostitution is illegal….but we’ve seen they’ll do anything for a large coporate handout (broken up into “individual sized” amounts to keep things looking legal). Sort of like a whore disguised as a “late night janitor” but with the TNA bag.

Then, they made sure that the 1000 to 3000 homeless people per city couldn’t vote.

And THEN, when you actually went to vote you had one single day to do it, and all of the poor neighborhoods had waiting times of over 2 hours, while the rich neighborhoods no one waited more than 45 minutes. So lot’s of poor people gave up.

In the end, only 40% of the people eligible to vote in Canada actually voted.
of that 40% only slightly over 1/4 of them voted conservative, but let’s say it was 1/3 just to give them the benefit of the doubt.

So thats what, 14%-18% of the actual voting population when you round it UP!!!!!
And that’s a Gov’t that “the people have chosen”????
That’s not enough to say they have the support of the population.

We absolutely need to make voting for the federal gov’t mandatory, with a significant tax penalty for non compliance, and a $50-$100 tax credit for all who do vote.
Make it absolutely mandatory. No if ands or buts, even for the homeless, give the homeless a central registry where they can get their identity verified and then let them vote in one riding, wherever they want in the city. Just one.
It’s these paper voting rolls that are fucked. The whole process is fucked. Use computers for fucks sake. Cut down on the paperwork.

BUT absolutely keep away from the electronic voting machines for the actual ballot filling out shit or we are just going to have whoever the NSA wants to lead us win every time.

What would really stimulate the economy?

It’s not about “terrorism”
It’s not about “human rights”

It’s a Christian Crusade against another land
in the interests of securing an oil pipeline for our neighbor

It’s part of the Christian vs Muslim war
regardless of how Stephen wants to paint it
It’s a war based on RELIGIOUS BELIEF

and that’s not something MULTICULTURAL Canada
should be involved in.

Pull our troops back to one main city
set a perimeter around the university, airstrip, hospital, and room for a tent city to grow
no more offensive Canadian actions
only defensive ones at the compund
anyone can come to learn, get medical attention, etc.

No Canadian troops anywhere else in the country
Let other countries even do the transport of people to the compund.

Anything else is Christian aggression against an opposing religious belief.
And a colonialist expansion.

Data theft, identity theft, fraud
they’re all running rampant

This is the age where a colour photocopier can reproduce money realistically
and we still trust little scribbles on paper

Any document, checks included
where a signature is used to sign some kind of authority over
should be required by law to have a photo of the signer signing the  document
little webcams are cheap

Banks should be made to conform to the law
that says they must cash Government checks
without a waiting period
Money mart can do it

The federal gov’t needs to make it impossible to forge an authorization

A SIGNATURE DOESN”T CUT IT ANYMORE!!!!

We see it every day
a few hours of practice
and someone can get close enough
because banks don’t even check the signature anymore

make financial institutions responsible for immediate verification
they’re making billions in profit
and now they want bailouts
make them invest in true security
of private information

Government privacy laws are being avoided and gotten around
on an unprecendented basis
through private contracted firms giving us “service”
handling our private information
without the controls or security
that government offices have to follow.
Minimum wage clerks
with  access to massive databanks of private information
slip them some money
and wait for their phone call
to tell you want you can’t get
by calling a bank
multitudes of poor clerks
with access to everything about you
and you don’t have a “choice”
if you want to recieve the subcontracted government “service”

we need comprehensive protection of our privacy
and comprehensive protection of our identity verification process

This is the 21st century
and Canadians are losing almost half a TRILLION dollars a year
because we still rely
on a fucking SCRIBBLE!!!!

Having problems with a contractor that’s giving you services that are now the “responsibility” of the provinces?

There’s only ad-hoc verbal complaints mechanisms, usually to the supervisor of the  very entity you have a problem with.

There should be a central FEDERAL complaints office.

So why is there a massive “financial crisis” right now?

set this whole thing up you know.
It was planned a couple of years before he took office
by CIA analysts
he spent 8 years in office
setting it up
deregulating this and that
starting a war to distract everyone
getting his pals in our own gov’t to get on their knees
setting up “initiatives” that were designed to fail
they set up the whole system like dominoes

and now he’s got a couple weeks
to topple them all over
so he and his buddies
can rake in the profits from everyones losses
and buy up the homes and land
they were tricked into losing

How much of Canada is going to be bought up by Americans
in the fire-sale they’ve DESIGNED
to loot and pillage the world with?

And afterwards we’ll let the IMF and World Bank
whose “open market” bullshit
and pressure tactics to remove social safety net’s worldwide
be the regulators?

It’s the new Sneaky Colonialism
dismantling of anything human-positive
turning us all into good little slaves
or killing us with poverty
where the few own everything
and we have nowhere to voice
our displeasure.

It was PLANNED for over a decade

The perpetual ripoff is continuing in Canada
The ripoff of the creative by the fat cats with money
Book publishers, music publishers, arts publishers, art galleries
It’s been going on for almost 2000 years
probably more

The people that create the greatest works of art
the pieces that people are oohing and ahhing about 100 years later
live in poverty and squalor
institutionalized poverty
It’s a huge fucking scam that everyone knows about
but no one will stick up for them
because they can’t afford lawyers

The one policy I agree with of Stephen Harper’s
is his axing of benefits to these huge “arts organizations”
that are just rich fuck brown nosing ass-licking sinkholes
The rich stand around partying
on taxpayers money
in huge glassy edifices
paying shitloads for fucking shit-art
abstract bullshit that doesn’t make waves
Twelve foot paintings of squares and triangles
thousands of dollars for scribbles
fucking bullshit

What we need is a guaranteed wage for original Canadian artists
Paid directly to the artists, not to some big organization
with administrative costs to match their parking lots of SUV’s
real artists dying in the streets

How many Van Gogh’s and Bill Reid’s have we slaughtered?
Driven to nothing
spit upon

We ripped apart the social services system that was keeping them alive
consolidated the media
payouts for art go right to the rich now
no ones paintings get shown till they’re dead
or they suck some rich fucker’s dick
it’s fucking sick

What we need is a new paradigm of true modern living arts
supported at the grass roots level

A gov’t website
each week, to keep getting their paltry $1000 a month
barely enough to scrape by
they have to post 1 painting per week
or one chapter of their book
or one poem

Every Canadian is given a set of credits they spend
They get TAX credits for spending them on the Canadian Arts site
they go online
and browse the NEW Canadian art and music and writing
they give credits to what they like
Artists who get the most credits in a month
get a bonus
Artists who go 3 consecutive months
with no credits
lose their right to participate for a year

The gov’t protects the copyright
of all artists posted
none of this shit
of a poor artist
being responsible for protecting their work
from being mass produced
in China or the Middle East
and shipped all over the world

The Canadian Gov’t itself
distributing the art
of LIVING Canadian artists
Like iTunes
but purely Canadian

Craftspeople making handcrafts
carvings and weavings
delivered by Canada Post
to Canadian consumers

Canadian musicians
getting promoted by their own people
the PEOPLE choosing
not art-fag curators with pockets full of bribes
saliva on their dicks

Money for the arts in Canada
is all going into the hands of the already wealthy
while the true groundbreaking art
that will be remembered
is copied and passed around
underground
until some entrepreneur in another country
takes advantage of the fact
that a poor Canadian artist  or writer
will never be able to sue them
and CSIS, unlike Interpol
doesn’t investigate the ripoffs
of Canadian cultural heritage

Publishers make millions off of a book
While the writer themselves
makes a couple hundred thousand
Music publishers gouge artists
for 50% of the royalties
while Socan doesn’t even know how
to automatically scan every song on every station
in the age of computer spreadsheets and song recognition services
they still follow their old way
of tiny commercial radio sampling
keeping a huge portion of what they collect
and never distributing it.

Think about it
A Canadian artist
Being promoted by his Gov’t while he’s still alive
A potter being shown internationally
while she still breathes
not worrying about having to work at an American fast food franchise
to live

Arts funding pays for “Playhouses” and “Symphonies”
That only the rich can afford to visit

Cities spend more on a single Art Gallery in a year
than their whole province spends on welfare in a year
and none of the artists alive in that city
is ever hung there

Galleries should receive their funding
based on the amount of wallspace dedicated
to living artists
from that particular city
and by the number of people that actually go
to the gallery

Suddenly curators would actually have to look around
they would have to find the true artists in their city
and they would have to find the art that truly draws people
not the puerile shit that the art snob schmooze scene
is trying to promote

Think about your last visit to your local municipal art gallery
how many living local artists were represented there?
